WHAT IS GSM?

GSM means Grams per Square Meter, and is a measurement metric used for fabrics.

To put this into perspective for the MKI 800 GSM Superweight Collection; one square meter of the fabric used to create the pieces is 800 grams.

The higher the GSM of a product, the thicker the fabric, and heavier fabrics are generally more durable and longer-lasting.

For the MKI 800 GSM Superweight Collection the thick, high quality cotton blend jersey fabric was combined with technical manufacturing techniques to create a durable and contemporary design.

MKI have continually worked to produce jersey collections at an accessible price point, creative new styles and colours for a contemporary jersey collection.
