MKI MIYUKI ZOKU expands its design language into footwear with the launch of its inaugural footwear collection, introducing two engineered silhouettes: the Hybrid Runner Trainer and Hybrid Slip On Trainer. Developed through MKI’s refined minimalist framework, this dual system footwear concept is designed for fluid, everyday movement, merging precision construction with contemporary lifestyle performance.
At the foundation of both models is a fully bespoke, purpose engineered outsole platform, developed exclusively in house. Constructed from 100% high-traction rubber, the sole unit is optimised for multi surface grip, abrasion resistance, and long term structural integrity, delivering a stable and responsive underfoot experience.
The Hybrid Slip On is precision built for adaptive comfort and streamlined wearability. Its laceless architecture is reinforced with elasticated gussets and a padded collar, enabling a secure, contoured fit. The upper integrates 100% hairy cow suede with a full perimeter 100% rubberised wrap, enhancing durability, weather resistance, and tactile contrast. A 100% terylene mesh insole introduces lightweight breathability, while contrast branding punctuates the silhouette with a refined technical edge.
The Hybrid Runner reengineers a traditional running profile through a contemporary, lifestyle driven lens. A 100% terylene mesh upper provides lightweight ventilation, structurally reinforced by precision mapped 100% TPU overlays for targeted support and durability. A padded collar and lace system deliver locked in stability, while the breathable mesh insole ensures sustained comfort. The proprietary outsole platform grounds the silhouette in performance grade traction and resilience.
