Your MKI Cotton Slub piece is made from 100% cotton, with its signature textured, uneven yarn. Cotton is a hardy fabric, but heat and harsh washing can fade colour and distort fit over time. These six steps will help your piece keep its colour, texture and print looking sharp, wash after wash.

Wash gently and cool
Machine wash at 30 degrees on a gentle cycle to protect the cotton and any printed graphics.

Separate dark colours
Wash dark colourways separately to prevent any dye transfer or fading.

Avoid bleach and the tumble dryer
Both can damage the fabric and shorten the life of the garment.

Never iron directly on a print
If the garment has a printed design, iron around it or turn the garment inside out first.

Iron on a cool setting
Where ironing is needed elsewhere on the garment, keep the iron on a cool setting.

Skip the dry cleaner
This piece isn't suitable for dry cleaning — stick to a gentle machine wash.
