MKI MIYUKI ZOKU [M-K-I MEE-YOU-KEY ZO-KU] is a contemporary menswear brand founded in the UK by Vik Tailor.
Committed to using highly developed fabrics, MKI is dedicated to designing and developing premium, yet accessible, contemporary menswear, that is focused on fit, fabric, and functionality.
Alongside two seasonal collections Spring/Summer and Fall/Winter, MKI offers a core range of highly engineered apparel and accessories, that are reflective of the current moment, with pieces designed to transition across the seasons.
BACKSTORY
MKI MIYUKI ZOKU takes its name from a youth tribe formed during the summer of ’64 in Ginza, Japan.
Named after their storefront loitering on Miyuki Street, the Zoku tribe were forward thinkers, trend setters and trail blazers, being the first to adopt elements of the ivy league style, and create their own modern style identity, the streetwear of its time.
In 2010, Vik Tailor took inspiration from the style of the Zoku tribe and MKI MIYUKI ZOKU [M-K-I MEE-YOU-KEY ZO-KU], fondly known as MKI, was founded.
To this day MKI continues to take inspiration from the ideology that the Miyuki-Zoku was founded upon, the drive for innovation and experimentation.

FROM CONCEPT TO COMPLETION, EVERY DETAIL WAS CONSIDERED TO REFLECT THE CONTEMPORARY ESSENCE OF MKI. FROM THE RAW NATURAL FABRICATIONS TO THE EXPOSED CEILINGS AND MINIMALIST AESTHETICS, THE 35,000 SQ FOOT SPACE IS HOME TO MKI'S DESIGN STUDIO, SHOWROOM, OFFICE, PHOTOGRAPHY STUDIO, AND WAREHOUSE.

MKI FLAGSHIP STORE OPENED IT’S DOORS IN LEEDS, UK IN SPRING 2010. SITUATED IN THE GRADE II LISTED CORN EXCHANGE IN THE CENTRE OF THE CITY, MKI STORE HAS BECOME AN INTEGRAL PART OF THE CITY’S FASHION SCENE, SERVING AND GROWING IT’S COMMUNITY FOR OVER A DECADE.
